General information

A myoma (or fibroid) is a benign growth of muscle tissue that develops slowly in the uterus. It can be located in the mucosa, growing towards the uterine cavity, developing in the muscle wall of the uterus or on the outer surface of the uterus. They vary in number and size, sometimes becoming the size of a baby's head. During years of medical monitoring, it is a common observation that they grow, shrink or even disappear. This is quite remarkable because, if it can disappear, we only need to investigate what influences its development.

Causes, symptoms

Fibroids can cause lumpy, heavy, crampy periods, as well as irregular bleeding and implantation problems. Outward-growing fibroids can cause abdominal distension and bladder discomfort. The uterus can put pressure on surrounding organs such as the bladder, rectum and vagina. It is common for the patient to find the sensation of an enlarged abdomen bothersome. When the uterus is loaded with fibroids, it pulls on the supporting connective tissue ligaments, which can cause uterine prolapse if the vaginal muscle is weak. This may be characterised by more frequent urinary urgency, more difficult urinary retention and bowel dysfunction. However, fibroids are often asymptomatic, but the advent of imaging diagnostic tools has increased the number of fibroids detected. Less commonly, they may increase in size during pregnancy, but more often they disappear.

Hormonal background is suspected to be the cause, but it is crucial to investigate what triggered this altered hormonal background. In the human body, everything works according to rules, in a controlled way, the organ systems do their work in coordination with each other, nothing happens randomly. So there is reason to believe that there is something going on behind the development of myomas, we just don't see it. The system (the psycho-neuro-endocrine system) that produces the hormones, receives impulses that result in oestrogen production, which stimulates the muscle cells in the uterus. The same happens during pregnancy, but then cell proliferation is spread out to the entire thickness and extent of the uterine wall, with myomas it is manifested in nodules. What could these impulses be? Female creativity, strength, lack of fertility, fears, desires, doubts, desires for children, insecurities in a relationship, etc. When experiencing these emotions, the system above receives inputs that result in the production of a different proportion of 'hormone cocktail', depending on the woman's mood and emotional state.

Treatment

Surgery, drugs, embolization, etc. are procedures that only try to remove the consequence, but there is no guarantee that the fibroids will not reappear, as the cause has not been identified. If the cause persists, the myoma may grow back unless the uterus is also removed. Alternative methods may also improve the situation. And because of its complex effects on the body and soul, Kriston Intimate Gymnastics is recommended by experts. Typically, fibroids shrink with the onset of menopause, but that is still a long time to wait when you are 35 or 40, it is better to start looking for a solution earlier.

Effects of the Kriston Method

As a result of the Kriston Intimate Training, many women report that their fibroids have disappeared, regardless of menopause. So it can go away! Most of the time, we create change in the course through the processes and case studies that the student experiences. The group session gives you a way to make the connection between the consequences of your choices, your emotional state and your symptoms. And then the 300 sequential, guided exercises stimulate a cortical process that has a significant positive impact on pelvic organ health. Just as importantly, it also changes the production of hormones in the brain's control centres of the neuroendocrine system, which in turn will affect the myomas. And a personalised exercise regime will help maintain the process that we have started on the course.

This serious transformational work is assisted by the Kriston Intimate Training, which one of our students described as 'I was hoping to shrink my fibroids or have a doctor remove them. I went to Kriston Intimate Training for a completely different reason. To my surprise, I already discovered during the course what I had done to create the fibroids. As a result, I shrunk it myself, I eliminated it.' The Kriston Method can be done in conjunction with the treatment recommended by your doctor. In the course, our students learn what only they can do for themselves. What would you do for your womb, for Yourself? We are eager to help you.
