Urinary tract infection
General information

Not a separate disease, but a group of symptoms known as urinary tract infection. The walls of the bladder are made up of smooth muscle and mucous membranes, which are under control of the nervous system. If we under a strong or prolonged state of stress, this can affect the bladder. Its muscles can quickly contract in the state of alarm, the mucous membrane can cause a false alarm and leads to an unnecessary, frequent or even intense urge to urinate, and it can also provide a temporary home for pathogens. The symptom may recur from time to time, or agonizingly several times a year.

Increased levels of stress hormones can affect the functions of the bladder. It is useful to observe our emotional state before the onset of the symptom. The onset of the symptom is sometimes linked to sex. Typically, known as the honeymoon syndrome, it is always occurs after intercourse, with painful urination. In this case, sex is more of a source of stress than pleasure, since it is the relaxation that is prevented. Some people, as a consequence, are completely cut themselves off from intimacy. Sometimes a completely different situation  can triggers the painful bladder functions. Infection in the background is very rarely detected, although it is often assumed that some pathogen needs to be eradicated. "UTI" can affect both sexes, yet it is more common in women.

Causes, symptoms

Frequent urge to urinate or the sensation of it, the bladder not has been emptied completely after urination, urination may be accompanied by a stinging, pinching sensation, changes in the odor and color of urine, painful experience when passing urine, pain in the pelvis or in the whole lower abdomen, and occasional blood in the urine. The underlying causes may be gynecological problems, pathogens, chronic stress, insufficient fluid intake, or a combination of those.

Sometimes the pain may also be caused by a stagnation of fluid in the para urethral glands. A group of glands that are located around the female urethra, produce fluid similar to the one produced by the prostate. The most extensive of the para urethral glands is the G-gland. This gland, which used to be useful in the course of the phylogeny, secreted a substance used for marking the territory, but now days it has become somewhat pointless. However, in some individuals it still produces a large amount of fluid, which tends to burst out from time to time. The characteristic nature of this, that during intercourse, it can release of an abundant, of up to 1litre of 'female ejaculation', which specific to the individual.

This requires oneself to allow to be completely submerged  in the intercourse. Anyone who reported that they thought they had wet themselves during sex, or were even shamed by their partner for doing it, may have been anxious about the next time, or may not have dared to experience this level of stimulation again. If the substance that produced in the gland are not able to drain out, it stagnates and presses on to the surrounding tissues, may also have a symptom generating effect. In the urinary tract infection if we look at the individual scenarios, behind the problem is tension, and stress. Which we often find feelings of "am I adequate?, will I be good enough?, or it's not good enough for me, but I have to, or something hurts" and  other similar feelings.

Treatment

Studies have shown that, with the same drug therapy, the patients who increased their daily fluid intake, were much less likely to experience the recurrence of symptoms. In addition to the medical and dietary advice usually recommended, the most important thing would be to eliminate the underlying causes. Medication, especially in recurrent cases, should be used very carefully, as the antibiotic treatment can seriously damage the normal flora of the gastrointestinal tract and vagina.
